onMouseOver and onMouseOut events can be associated with images, hyper links, div sections, tables etc.

onMouseOver event is triggered when the mouse pointer is moved over the resource to which the onMouseOver event is associated.

onMouseOut event is triggered when the mouse pointer moves out of the resource to which the onMouseOver event is associated.

The following example illustrates the usage of the onMouseOver and onMouseOut events:

<html>
<head>
<script type="text/JavaScript">

function mouseOver() {
alert("Mouse Pointer moves over the Hyper Link");
}

function mouseOut(){
alert("Mouse Pointer leaves the Hyper Link");
}

</script>
