By using different attributes of the marquee tag, we can use this tag in a number of different ways.

The value of this attribute can be any whole number. For example if you want your image to scroll twice then you must use '2' as its value. This will tell the browser to scroll the image 2 times. LOOP="1" will scroll it only once.

The above image will loop only twice.

WIDTH=" "
This gives you control on the width of the marquee. The number of pixels, or a percentage of the screen can be used as its value.

The above marquee is 250 pixels wide.
DIRECTION=" "

This attribute defines the direction of the marquee. It can take the values LEFT, RIGHT, UP or DOWN.
